Want to train as a professional?

For starters, I recommend a visit to the website for the National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage: www.nbcaam.org

Also, the following schools offer certification courses in animal massage, other forms of bodywork and related topics. Many of them also offer on-line classes, workshops and other educational resources. See individual descriptions and links below for more information. You can click on the school’s name to visit its website.

Note: On-line classes available here with All About Animal Massage are not intended for professional certification, but they can be used for most continuing education requirements you may have, and/or for your personal education goals and interests. If you do plan to attend a school for professional certification, remember that your state may regulate the profession of animal massage. If licensing is required, certification is only part of the process. Start by checking the  regulations in your state.

Recommendations? If you have a school you would like to see added to this list, please have a representative from the school contact us with information and permission to include them here as a resource.
